     Hello beautiful mom, congratulations on your conception. When you are expecting is a time of preparation for the physical and spiritual well-being of your baby for new moms and moms with children too. It is every couple's desire to have a stress-free pregnancy and delivery, these Scripture will boost your confidence as you pray them over your baby and receive answers to your prayers. God who answered your prayers for conception will see you through your pregnancy and delivery too.

Why Pray the Scriptures?

     As Christian moms, it behoves on us to seek the face of God for every situation and the Bible enjoins us to pray without ceasing. The period of expectation is a time to increase our faith in God and a time to pray for supernatural strength for the journey ahead. It is also an avenue to intentionally give over your child's destiny to God, to fulfil the purpose instead of leaving the child to the whims and caprices of the enemy.

     The word of God is supreme and a life-giving force so we can be sure that the more you pray with the word, the more things move in the direction of the Scriptures as confirmed in Isaiah 55:11, 'So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.'

Scriptures to Pray Over Your Unborn Baby

Exodus 23:25-26 - And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Deuteronomy 7:13 - And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Malachi 3:10-11 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Psalms 127:3 - Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Isaiah 54:13 - And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Isaiah 65:23 - They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Psalms 37:25 - I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Warfare Scriptures In Pregnancy 

Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

2 Corinthians 10:5 - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Jeremiah 20:11 - But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

Isaiah 49:25 - But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Jeremiah 30:20 - Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
